There's something I must confide in you,

Something you'll scarcely believe,

I'm not sure when, I'm not sure how,

But I've angered a certain deity,

Cupid's got in in for me,

Don't deny it, I know it's true,

Why else do I fall in love

With every man I see?

All over town, I know,

That winged mischief maker follows me about,

Not a single day goes by

When I'm not pulling one of his arrows out,

Always shoots me when I'm not looking,

When I don't stand a chance,

A twang, a zing and pain in my chest,

Followed by a soppy eyed trance,

He turns me into mush on cue,

Without much effort at all,

Doesn't matter who it is,

With absolute surity I fall,

It's getting quite annoying,

This constant infatuation,

But I've got a plan, a brilliant plan,

To rectify this situation,

One of these days I'm going to get that brat,

Just you wait and see, I will,

I'll get my own set of nice sharp arrows,

And move in for the kill.
