Until I Disappeared

There was once a time when you would not see past me,
But now you look right through me.
It’s like I’m not even there.

But things change,
People Change,
And like the stars themselves fall from the very sky,
You have fallen from me.

I’m invisible.

Your eyes see only him now,
Your precious orbs filling with joy as he comes into view.
Its like I was never there.

Even in old pictures of us,
Memories so grand they were held forever in limbo,
It’s his face you wish was there,
I’m no one to you now.

So like a tear from heaven,
I have fallen from grace.
Only the love and forgiveness of a god can bring it back.

But to me you are a goddess,
The one who has brought all happiness to my life.
And now pain.
Can you ever take me back?

Of nothing but my enduring love,
And ever pained heart,
Can I be sure of anymore.
