Chapter 3.

RING! RING! RING!

“Oh shut the bloody hell up…” Courtney said as she rolled over her self in bed to through her phone into the wall.

“Courtney! Breakfast is ready!”

“Not hungry mother!” the girl replied. She never ate breakfast, why should her mother think that had changed?

Crawling out of bed, I remember why I’m here and not at the Momo’s house.

Flash back

“ Listen Courtney, if you don’t tell us what’s going on then I guess you don’t consider us your friends!” Kat shouted across the street. Megan and Jennifer slipped inside, for neither having violent natures tended to stay out of our fights.

“ There’s nothing to worry about! Everything is fine!” I pleaded.

“NO IT’S NOT!”

“ Settle down Kat, your need to settle down!” Kenn said quietly but forcefully, putting a hand on Katherine shoulder and a hand on her hip.

“Stay out of this Nerdy!” Kat yelled turning around and coming only inches from Kennedy’s face.

“If we are all a family, then we are all in this together. We are for each other and there for each other.” Kenn said calmly but sternly, never breaking eye contact.

“So how many lies did you intertwine in that little ditty? 50!”

“No Kat! There were no lies!” Kenn defended herself.

“Well I can’t believe that.” Kat said as she walked back into her house. The door slammed shut telling Annie and me we weren’t welcome tonight.

Back flash

Damn things are fucked up. What am I going to do to get her to trust me when I say I’m fine?

“Become fine.” Said the voice.

Stupid voice inside my head… it usually is right.

“That’s because I know things. I know you, and I know you’re not fine. Your way to fat to be fine.”
