The girl you lost sleep for

The droopy eyes

Betray your tired body

As your bloodshot eyes stare

Out the window—

A distant far away

--

You’re tired but you can't sleep

As the heaviness of your troubles creep

Into the time you meant for to forget

--

Could it not be

That she disturbs you so much

That even when you’re exhausted

She haunts your mind like a silent shadow

While I stood here at the doorway

Silently shedding tears for you

--

She follows you like a ghost

With a name I still don’t know

I wonder what she did to you…

Could it be a past love?

--

I was intruding upon your private musings

And it felt wrong

So I turned and walked away

Wondering about the girl you lost sleep for.

A/N: Truth to be told, my friend told me that this one is scary. Lol. Well, maybe it is ;D
