“Sinking Ship”

Written By: Blk Sapphire

Drowning in the blue and magnolia seas,

Without the life line,

Without hope.

The waves crash in,

And the currents inhale,

With the exhale they spit me out.

A quiet scream so loud that it barely makes a ripple:

Does anyone hear me?

Does anyone hear me?

Watching the belly of the ship past by,

Without me:

How can it forget me?

Am I sinking?

Standing on the deck,

I open my eyes.

Nothing has happened,

I’m still here waiting for my accomplice,

I’m still here waiting for the crows.

For the murder.
