Prologue

He had never let them down, oh no. that would be unthinkable.

Captain Eward DeVelliano was the most powerful, infamous pirate to sail the sea, and what’s even better was that he controlled it.

He and his crew on the Siren would wipe down anyone who dared to stand in their way. They were pirating legends and a great nuisance to the royal navy.

There were all sorts of stories about the famous Siren and its merciless sailors.

Then one day, it all went wrong.

Another pirate ship by the name of the Trickster, which was captained by a man name Haelstrom appeared. They Trickster slew without remorse, killing anything and everything.

Then came that fatal day when the two barges met. There was war.

The two galleons firing at each other, pirate killing pirate until the members of the Siren were overpowered. DeVelliano was captured and they left the survivors to die.

Haelstrom only wanted the captain. He was the one with the magic to control the seven seas; he was the one they wanted.

However, Eward DeVelliano would not go down without a fight.

While the Trickster was at its berth spot, he used the remainder of his magic and strength to kill everyone and everything. DeVelliano cursed the island, so that anyone who tried to steal anything from the island would have to go through extreme measures to get to the island, and then they would perish by the hands of the bewitchments the curse brought.

Legend has it that DeVelliano had a treasure that he used to control the waters with and that it still hangs from his skeleton, the bewitchments keeping his skeleton preserved.
