Vampires Are Real

YaoiAnimeJunky: Another original of mine. Though different from my others that are out so far, this actually starts off with a Girl for the main character. Mind you there are some yaoiness sexy parts in here so be warned.

A voice echoes threw the darkness as the sound of water is heard, “Living on my own for most of my life,” a girls voice reveals, “I’ve learned to deal,” drops of water fall into the dark abyss. “To me my fantasy’s are everything,” she continues the sounds of panting are heard as they also echo, “And yet,” she pauses as the panting grows closer, “You say something’s wrong with me?”

Screaming is heard coming from a girl with ember colored hair to her back gun shots are heard her body freezing causing her to trip over a rock.

“Did we get her?” an older man asks coming up from behind the man with the shot gun.

“Not sure,” he says lowering his weapon eyeing her with a grin.

Threw her sobs she gasps laying there in the water, “please,” she begs shaking her head tears running down her face, “What happened?”

Jumping out of her bed sweat down her face she gasps shocked, “Not this again,” she gulps chills running throughout her body. Just as she recalls the men with there wicked grins, and her limp body in shock and pain her alarm goes off. Glancing over skittish from the sudden noise she exhales relived sliding off her bed she turns the old fashioned bell clock off, walking over to her bathroom half naked. Closing the door and sliding off her night clothes she turns the shower on slipping in, her ember hair sticking to her back as the water bathed her. Gathering shampoo in her hands she lathers her long hair waving her hands in and out rinsing it as she went. After doing the same for the conditioner she washes her body then quickly gets out. With a limited time before her work, ‘it only seems like a dream now.’ She thinks remembering her life before running away, her abusive father, her parents’ murder, her best friend’s suicide and her boyfriend telling her she was being used. Shivering at the thought she grabs a towel wrapping it around her scared body drying off somewhat before walking out to her closet by her bed.

Time goes by and she’s finally ready to get to work, her job working at a pub sure a 16 year old isn’t suppose to but for Kishi anything was possible. Being popular with the tourists visiting Transylvania why couldn’t she? She fit in and everyone loved her bubbly unique personality, The city of Vampires she would always say with a grin on her face. She loved it here, she felt for the first time, at home.

Lacing up her boots her watch goes off, “Shit,” she cusses seeing she’s late getting out the door. Jumping up she taps her boots finding her comfortable spot as she turns the handle to her main door jumping out it dashing down the hallway. She lived in a somewhat older building so there were no elevators or not yet anyway, Mickey the landlord said he didn’t want any but it would get him more people if there was. Reaching the doors to the stairs, once she opened those doors she would be outside, unlike what you’d think. With the stairs inside of the building, throwing this door open she runs out grasping the railing jumping over free falling down three full flights of stairs landing on her feet like some kind of professional athlete.

“Kisha, you know that’s not good on your legs,” Mickey says coming from the side alley.

“It’s Kishi Mickey,” she says sticking her tongue at him, “What are you doing out here anywho?”

“Taking out the garbage Kisha,” he replies with a smile knowing she’d get mad because he deliberately would call her Kisha on purpose.

Giving him a teenaged look of unsatisfactory she bounces off into a jog waving her hand in the air, “Bye Mickey See ya in the morning!” she quickly says with her back turned, now in a full blown run to the tavern across the town.

Getting about a block down she slows down coming to a walk, ‘Why’s he gotta call me that!’ she things mad, “It’s Kishi!” She yells loud stomping her foot getting it into a puddle getting the side of her jeans wet. Her echo is heard and the sound of dogs barking in the distances picks up while the other night time critters continue on with there nightly activities. Looking at her watch again as she passes under a street lamp she taps the small piece of glass for amusement, “Is it really this early? I was late a minute ago,” she says to herself confused. Glancing up and seeing no one she jumps from the sidewalk to the road, walking weird as she tries to get each foot on the cobble stone road.

With the wind blowing the trees howl and the rain beating the ground threw the darkness and mist a stone fortress lay there dim lights light certain rooms. “I can’t believe it,” a long silver haired man pouts staring out the window, “He left!” Glaring at the racing water from the sky the man continues to pout, “It’s not fair why does he get to have all the fun while I’m stuck here,” sighing the rain falls down heavier any sound made gets blocked out as the impact of the droplets dig deeper into the ground.

“GAaaa!” Kishi screams tripping over an uneven stone in the road falling face first hitting her nose, “Oww,” she moans laying there pain coursing threw her face. With her pulse in her face she slowly sits up her eyes clenched closed and a warm liquid flowing down her nose. Unconsciously she touches the wound getting blood on her hands, “Shit,” she says opening her eyes blinded by a bright light. Confused she turns her head squinting her eyes, “Wh-What’s going on?” she asks the cool air with a hint of fear in her voice.

The light zooms in on her fast and before she can realize it that it’s a car it’s already to late, sitting there she stares blankly unable to move. As the last minute comes her eyes fly shut and her head lowers down her body tensing up not noticing that she’d been picked up and moved from that dangerous spot.

“You alright?” a boy’s voice asks his foot steps stop directly in front of her, “Taking on a drunk driver,” he starts peering down the street at the red taillights, “It’s a miracle that that person hasn’t crashed into something else,” he says blinking looking back at her kneeling down hearing a bang, “I now stand corrected,” he chuckles shaking his head. “Hey,” he says again placing his hand on her head patting her, “You alright? You know you’re safe now,”

Listening to what this guy was telling her she begins to relax, that is before he started to pet her. ‘What’s he doing!’ she thinks shocked also angered pulling away from the hand she then clamps her mouth around it sinking her teeth into his warm flesh.

“Oww Fuck!” he yells shocked and in pain, “You can stop!” he says loudly as this strange girl bites down harder, “Anytime now please I d-didn’t mean anything!” She bites down harder feeling the skin puncture and she releases his hand spitting out the blood looking up at him. “Ow,” he simply says staring at his hand then her, “Nice to meet you too, I’m only the guy that just saved your life,” only getting a glare from her he sighs shaking his head.

“Who are you?” Kishi says finally realizing that she’s never met this man before, and she new just about everyone.

“I’m-,” he starts unconsciously stopping himself looking back down at her, “Incognito,” he says walking past her disappearing.

Standing up she brushes off her pants turning around to see if that guy was still in sight, “Weirdo,” she says seeing that he was gone, “Guy’s thinking they’re all mysterious with that line around here,” she rolls her eyes and hears glass breaking, “Uh oh,” she says staring in the direction it came from, the tavern.

Running down to the end of the block and turning the corner she runs into the tavern jumping over the counter, “Hey Chris,” she says with a lazy smile.

“Don’t you hey Chris me,” he says upset, “Your late,”

Like a dagger in her back she sighs, “Ouch that hurt,” she replies.

“I’m sure it did what’s your excuse?”

“I almost got ran over by a car,” She says not looking at him walking off towards the back room.

Staring at her he says, “You what?”

Sighing, “I’m going to clock in and unpack if you need me vampire boy,” she says getting her energy back and also changing the subject.

“Will you drop it!”

“Maybe later,” Kishi replies being a smart ass, “Right now I don’t have anything to drop, Vampire Chris,”

“I’m not a vampire,”

“Are so,”

“Not,”

“Hey,” she says looking over at the entrance.

“What?” he looks too, thinking there’s a customer.

“Have you seen the moon tonight,” she asks giggling, “A full moon what fun!”

Throwing a dish towel at her he yells flustered, “Get to work your late!”

“Ah I’m going!” replying she runs off into the back room while laughing, “This only makes you look guilty!” she yells from the back room signing in.

“Yea well I could care less,” the blond haired boy yells back shaking his head sighing.

“You’ve got you hands full with her don’t you?” a boy says walking into the tavern with a smirk on his face.

“Damn straight,” the worker boy replies sighing combing a hand threw his hair, pausing to register that someone had entered. Freezing his movements his eyes shift to the teen and he sighs rolling his eyes, “What the hell are you doing here?”

“I could ask you the same,” the dark haired boy replies, “Running off so long ago!” he says in a pouting voice, “It took me forever to figure out where you were,” he says walking up to the bar pulling up as stool resting his elbows on the bar his gaze on Chris, “Why’d you leave again I didn’t quiet get it as you ran out the door after punching me,”

“That’s none of your concern,” Chris says trying to be professional folding the dish towel he was done with resting it on his shoulder, “I’m more worried to why you’re here,”

“Don’t play koi with me,” the dark haired teen says smirking sticking his tongue out at his friend, “You know exactly why I’m here,”

“For the key,” Kishi buts in from behind the back door trying to get her voice low enough, “One key to rule them all!” she continues trying to do an evil laugh.

“Kishi!” The blonde screams kicking the back door slamming into your face sending you flying backwards hitting the wall sliding to the floor.

“That was a bit over done don’t you think?” the new boy says peaking his head to look at the door still swinging and Kishi on the ground lying there, “I think you hurt her,”

“I wish,” Chris being annoyed says, “Drake you can’t get rid of her,” he sighs taking another deep breath, “She’s keeps coming back,”

“Sounds like a stalker,”

“She probably is,”

“The best there is!” Kishi pipes in smiling leaning on the door frame to the back room.

“See what I mean,” the blonde says his shoulders slouching and head drooping eyes closing.

“Vampire boy can handle me,” the ember haired girl says slapping Chris’s back, “Are you a vampire friend too?” she asks tilting her head examining him, “Hmmm you’ve got the body and the look,” she says to herself, “Let me see your mouth,”

Raising an eyebrow at such a request he laughs, “Chris is she alright?”

“If I said no would you get her help?”

“You all love me,”

“I don’t even know you,”

“True, true,” she says nodding, “Well my names Kishi,” she says cheerfully.

Having no real other option he too replies, “My names Drake a pleaser,” he even goes to the length to bow.

“Oh that proves it!” she ogles at him.

“Proves what?” Drake asks baffled.

“You are so a vampire!” she says coming up to him giving him a hug, “Another vampire for Chrisyboy,” she says giggling to herself.

“Go to work!” Chris yells pulling on the back of her shirt dragging her into the back room where he glares at her, “Stop talking about vampires Kishi! Get to work! That’s your job or have you forgotten!”

Staring shocked at his anger and also how strict he was being she stands there blinking, “You- is there something wrong?”

“Get to work,” he says turning around pushing the door open, “Stop eavesdropping and unpack those boxes that came the other day got it!”

“Uh,” she pauses but he leaves her there alone in the dull room, “Scary,” she whispers shivering, “So vampireish,” she tells herself nodding to her statement.
