Angel

YaoiAnimeJunky: Welcome to the second remake of … many. I do hope you like this.

Life a form of existence where things are living; Death another form of life, but what kind of existence is death?

“This is Rita with some shocking News for all you citizens in the Tokyo area,” the reporter firmly states with her post outside a fairly new apartment complex, “Inside sources state that Yoru Shimi an 18 year old high school student was murdered in his apartment,” she states getting straight to the point, “We’re unsure at the moment how and exactly what happened to this student,” she cuts off when a official appears from a door guarded with cops and scurries to catch up to him for questioning. “Sir, sir!” she calls out, “Are there any suspects as to who would do such a crime?”

Grumbling the older man brushes her off talking instead to an officer, “If they’ve talked to you do us all a favor and stay out of there way!” he barks frustrated. “Sir!” the reporter asks again throwing the microphone in his face. “Get her out of here!” He orders shoving the microphone out of his face pointing to her with two officers coming behind towards her. “But wait no. No! What about the citizens! They have the right to know!” he yells as her camera man loses his feed and both are shoved away from the scene.

Three blocks away a television set dies after this Rita News lady is shoved off the scene, in the dark a shadow of a teenager boy is barely seen slouched on the couch head hung over his shoulders. “How long?” he questioned voice dripping with darkness. The television flickers restoring the picture that was lost, “We’re sorry for the brief interruption!” Rita perks in, “We’ve been moved away from the crime scene and haven’t attained any new leads,” she pauses to catch a breath, “But it seems just a few moments ago two police cars took off, could this mean they found a suspect?” she states obvious to the viewers that her adrenalin was racing.

The boy smirks, “A suspect so soon?” he says with his eyebrow and head raised. His smirk fades transforming into a devilish face, “Those fools know nothing of this world,” he sighs leaning back on the couch. While the television talks in the background fabric movements are heard, the boys hand locks around something and he slides it over into his lap.

“You know what kiss my ass, Yoru,” Kurai says flicking a cigarette to the ground while leaning against a building, “Why the hell would you want to prove that!”

“I don’t know,” Yoru answers shyly looking away, “It’s just-,” he pauses to look down the ally they where in kicking a rock that just happened to be laying there.

“Just what?” the midnight haired Kurai repeats cocking an eyebrow suspiciously.

Ignoring the midnight haired biker boy Yoru stops where he is looking out of the corner of his eyes to the cigarette, sighing he steps over toward it stepping directly on it making sure it’s out, “That’s a hazard you know,” he replies shaking his head.

“Pff and it matters?” Kurai questions chuckling, “Besides,” pausing with his foot arranged on the wall to push him away, “You don’t want to prove that,” his head shakes as his foot moves from the wall.

“Why not haven’t you ever wondered about life after death?” the light blue headed Yoru asks looking at his friend.

Crossing his arms and grunting, “Everyone thinks about that once in there life,”

“Well then help me,” Yoru begs his eyes boring into his friends.

“Ah don’t look at me like that,” Kurai sighs seeing the look trying to look away, “What are you suicidal or something?”

Pausing from the statement, “I didn’t think about it that way,” blinking spaced out his thoughts pulling him deeper into his world.

“Nerd, how the hell did we become friends?” Kurai asks jokingly shaking his head a smirk on his face, “A punk like me and a brain like you,” he lets out amused. Yoru glaring from the comment didn’t need to speak to get his friends attention, “You don’t like that do you?” Kurai says smirking swinging around Yoru pinning him to the wall. “Even you have your limits,” he winks staring at his blue headed friend.

“S-So do you,”

“Hmm you want to prove this life after death thing?” Kurai asks narrowing there gap bumping foreheads there noses touching.

“Y-Yes,” Yoru breathes nervous, “Why are you-,” he starts getting cut off.

“What would drive you this far?” Kurai hums curiously.

“Why do you want to know?”

Chuckling Kurai replies, “You’re asking me to kill you why not?” his nose rubs with the others.

“W-what are you doing?” Yoru whispers shyly.

“It’s an Eskimo kiss,” Kurai honestly says, “I thought you were smarter then that,”

“I know that!” The light aqua head replies slightly angered.

“Shh,” Kurai coos tilting his head pressing his lips against Yoru’s. Yoru’s eyes haze getting blurry then blacking out moaning into the kiss, ‘W-what are you doing Ku-Kurai?’

“W-What are you doing Ku-Kurai?” Yoru moans quietly not knowing his friend was right there watching him in his own bed, ‘So he does dream about me,’ the dark blue haired Kurai thinks smirking.

“And you said you like girls,” Shaking his head the biker friend sits down next to the sleeping Yoru poking him. “Brain get up,” he jokes from earlier knowing that will set him off.

“Shut up!” Aqua hair flings up connected to its owner who now looked confused, “Where are-,”

“You apartment,” Kurai simply puts, “Strictly speaking you passed out while we were in the ally so I brought you back here,”

“Wait I passed out,” he blinks not remembering that part it all seemed real.

“You still want me to do it?” Kurai sternly asks a serious look on his face.

“Do-,” pausing he nods, ‘my theory,’, “Yes I still want you to do that,”

“Ok then,” he answers emotionless.

“Why are you so calm?” the aqua head questions a sweat drop forming on his face and chills down his spine. Maybe because his shirt was removed and he was so relaxed that his friends coolness, even on a matter such as this, remained the same.

Leaning closer toward the aqua head Kurai leans to an ear whispering as his hands found there way around to his back, “You see, Yoru you won’t like me when you get there. Things work in a different circle. And people aren’t all the same,” pause, “You cant come back after this,”

“How do you?” Yoru starts gasping as something sharp is stabbed into his back. The shivering continues for a brief moment and the feeling numbs, ‘this feeling why is it. … so warm? What’s going on? I feel so … light,”

The echoing voice of Kurai continues out loud or more so inside the quickly moving wheels of Yoru, “You see, Yoru You won’t like me when you get there, get there, get there,” his mouth opens slightly blood oozing from the side. His right hand twitched and body slowly as his fight to live died away he becomes limp, and is laid back down on the bed.

“Yoru,” Kurai quietly whispers head down eyes shielded, ‘what have I done,’ removing the knife from his friends back he takes one more glance at the body. With a heavy sigh he returns to the kitchen sticking the knife in the prepared soupy water in the sink, then to the shower. There was no need to worry about perfection, not when you know what you’ve started.

“And I thought I liked it here too,” he lets out after the bath and his clothes clean as he leaves for his own apartment.
