This chapter: Epilogue: Andie thinks about the time she's had with Martin so far and the time she'll have with him in the future.

It had been four months, three weeks, and two days since Andrea Michele DeWitt had met her perfect match, Martin Lawrence Thelms, Junior.

It had been four months, two weeks, and five days since he had discovered her true identity, as before, she'd called herself Dena Wittaker. It was also on that day that she'd made the decision to teach him how to fight. The next day, his training had begun.

It had been four months and one day since she had revealed her painful past to him - something which was painful because of his dictator father. On that same day, though no one else had known until some time later, she had decided that she was going to kill him in order to get revenge on Thelms for what he had done to her.

It had been three months, three weeks, and six days since she, Martin, Jonathan, and Harvey had arrived at the Revolutionaries International Headquarters, when all of the other revolutionaries had learned of Martin's lineage. One week and six days later, though she'd known that many of the revolutionaries were still opposed to his presence, she'd decided that she wasn't going to kill Martin, after all, and she'd let him live.

It had been three months, one week, and four days since she had admitted to herself that she was in love with Martin, and then, an amazing week following, she had been able to confess to him how she felt. Much to her delight, he'd admitted to feeling the same way about her, and it was then that they'd shared their first kiss.

It had been two months, three weeks, and two days since she and Martin had had their first date and made love for the first time, finally allowing her complete and total salvation from her past life in which she had been hung up on getting back at Thelms, thinking about how much he'd hurt her. Her thoughts had then no longer been those of revenge, but of protection. She'd wanted to keep the man she loved safe in any way, even if it meant dying for him.

It had been two months, two weeks, and three days since it had been he, not she, who had put his life on the line for the revolutionaries and for her by fighting against his own father, sustaining serious injuries and losing consciousness the moment after he was the victorious one in the fight. For the next two days after that, she had been in complete agony, not knowing when or if he would ever be recovered and regain consciousness. However, he had, and the joy and relief she'd felt had been overwhelming, especially since she'd lost Jacques, the man who had been a friend and father figure for the majority of her life.

Two weeks and one day later, all of the members of Revolutionaries International, Andie and a then - fully recovered Martin included, had traveled to France to bury Jacques, remembering how much they all had cared for him and how much he had done to try and make the world a better place. It had been hard on everyone, Andie especially, but they were all glad to have known him.

It had been three days since Martin had gotten down on one knee in their private garden and slipped a ring onto Andie's left ring finger, rather nervously asking the question that she'd been wanting to hear for quite some time. She hadn't worn the ring on her finger since then, instead wearing it next to her heart on a chain around her neck, but that night, she and Martin were planning on announcing that a wedding was to occur sometime within the next few months, and then she would proudly wear the ring on her finger.

It had also been three days since Andie had gone to see Harvey, as he was the primary doctor of all of the members of Revolutionaries International, and he had confirmed what she'd already known in her heart - she and Martin weren't the only ones lying in the bed that they were sharing any more. She hadn't told him yet, but, though she didn't know it, she would finally break the news to him in a mere 15 minutes, which would result in their second round of lovemaking for the day.

At this very moment, though, Andie and Martin, her fiancé and the man that she was completely, hopelessly, selflessly, and eternally in love with, were simply lying in bed together, relaxing and merely enjoying one another's presence after the first round of lovemaking for the day, feeling completely secure in each other's arms.

"What time is it?" he sighed, though he didn't expect her to answer, and he glanced at the clock that was sitting on the nearby bedside table. "Oh, it's 2:38."

"Hmm," she murmured rather carelessly, sighing contentedly and snuggling up against him even more than she already was. "That's nice... why do you care?"

He smiled and ran a hand through her loose, chocolate-brown hair, leaning down slightly and pressing a soft kiss to her forehead and then her neck. "I was just making sure that you and I have more time to mess around, that's all."

She chuckled to herself, then reached out, taking his face in her hands and then kissing him on the lips, holding it there for a moment before pulling away and then running a hand through his hair in turn.

"Don't worry, babe," she said. "We've got all the time in the world."
