A little Metal Box

A little metal box filled with memories

Every time I see it I’m just so happy.

Stuff from elementary and middle school

Or things that I thought were just so cool.

Back when I had the chickn pox

You were carrying a bundle wrapped in socks.

You said,

“A little metal box to fill with memories,

Every time you see it, I hope you become happy.

You can even put in some of your beautiful locks,

Just don’t forget who gave you that little metal box.”
