There's this pounding in my ears, like beating drums – my head is about to burst. Rumble, rumble, rumble, haven't the voices in my head heard that silence is golden? It's growing louder, and I find myself laughing and screaming at the same time.

Are you crying for help? It's a waste of breath.
The pounding stops suddenly. The silence is dreadful, it's driving me mad. The voices are laughing…laughing…laughing…laughing. I am screaming…screaming…screaming…screaming.
You are dying…dying…dying…dying.
Let me out of this nightmare. Let me out of this horrible, horrible, dream. Let me go.
You'll never be free.
