What Bugs Me.

When a snow day is a school day.

When I can’t catch a butterfly.

When my dad goes away.

When my brother is a jerk.

When my mom cries.

When I get writers block.

When an eyelash gets in my eye.

When the sunset isn’t colorful.

When my pencil breaks while writing.

When the world is spinning too fast.

I DON’T UNDERSTAND.

I don’t understand…

Why we stand in a line and not in a circle.

Why everyone can speak, but few listen.

Why #2 pencils are better.

But most of all…

Why small differences seem to matter.

Why words can make people cry.

Why we say we’ll do something, and don’t.

Why someone always has to win.

What I understand most is…

Why Ice Cream comes in thousands of flavors.

Why tears are transparent.

Why smiling is contagious.
