Before you pull that trigger

I know you may be in a fit of rage

But don't take this life at such a young age

This life could be a son,

A brother,

A friend or lover,

A doctor, an actor,

A student or teacher

This life has possibilities

Till no end

But most of all

He could be your friend

So don't take this life

And cut it in half

Don't play god

And bloody your hands

Put the weapon of evil down

For causes death and despair

Put it down and be fair

Let this person have a life

And keep your soul in your sight
