She’s’ The Queen Of Tastes.

She’s the queen of tastes.

Our little girl?

She’ll eat anything.

Mystery Soup?

Orange Bananas?

Foreign Goop?

Sure I’ll have a bit of

Everything.

I remember those times.
When I felt so

Proud

That I didn’t care what was

On my plate.

I didn’t care the looks people gave me.

Disgust.

I like that food.

It was

Always good.

No matter what I tried.

Now, I still would eat

An ancient plant kept in a bottle for

A thousand years.

Some things haven’t changed.

But some have.

I can’t eat octopus legs anymore.

Crocodile tongues make me SICK.

I turn away when my mom cooks meat.

I can’t look down that aisle in the store.

Why do I feel so queasy?

Why did I burst out crying when

My brother squished a ladybug?

Why, does suddenly,

Nature matter so much?

I’m not eating meat anymore.
It’s this thing called

Animal Rights.

But somehow, I can’t help feeling that…

Some things are contrasting.

I used to eat

ANYTHING.

Now I just eat rice.

And peas.

And corny stuff.

Something’s missing.

And then again,

Everything’s perfect.
