---Last year Thanksgiving was so large,
So many blessings for a frugal time
A stream in the forest that all creatures come to;
Now it's an ocean, a plain. So:
----I give thanks
-----That the light at the end of the tunnel
is a great plain, without paths.
-----That on the ocean you can see time, the earth, curve.
-----That a few point-friends make up a plane,
when many compose a path.
-----That the first thanksgiving means things were hard
And the second that things have stayed bountiful
----I give thanks
-----That I have survived long enough
to choose a new path.
