author's note:
The last line, I know, should be changed to "that little town in Israel"...but Bethlehem sounds better, anyway. Plus, this is a draft--thus, unfinished--and I would like crit, if you please, before I give it to my friend for her birth-day (I love you, Maddie-kins ). Hopefully, with a better title in mind when I send it to her.
