Friends we once were
Now broken and torn
Our friendship was so mere
Leaves my soul forlorn

How did this happen
My nightmares come true
Why did you let it happen
My dreams torn into two

Depraved my heart is
Of your kindness and care
Scarred my heart is
Of leaving me so bare

No more can we return
To that little lie of ours
A friendship so brittle
It is now my greatest fear
