If you see ANY grammatical or spelling errors, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE notify me! Send me the incorrect sentance, and then the same sentance corrected. (Please show the correction and a brief statement of why). I really hope to get this book published as my graduation present. (I'm a freshman...so I've got 3 years). THANK YOU!

I gripped the steering wheel of my car until the skin stretched over my knuckles and turned it white in color. The letters on the e-mail clung to my memory, refusing to let me forget.

We’re coming for you.

It felt like some cheesy horror movie that I couldn’t escape. It was most likely some guys from my school trying to scare me. Though some part of me, a part too deep to touch yet close enough to hear, was telling me to get out of here. That something bad was about to happen.

And then it hit me; no, not in the epiphany sort of way, but in the physical sense. I had slammed on my breaks, not seeing the stop sign, and my breaks completely stopped working, I skidded across the dark, dimly lit road and into on coming traffic; bad idea to pull the emergency break. The last thing I remember was thinking, please god, I need to stay alive. I need to tell Eric the vampires are back. Please, oh, please! Is cancer not enough? Why? Please.

Then, everything was black.
