A poem I thought of during school and that kind of goes along with my story "Dark Light". Hope you like it and please review!!!!!
The Sun And The Moon
Light and dark clash
Their teeth lock together
Their claws are poised to lash
But the battle will rage on forever
The sun grapples with the moon at dusk
But the sharp, white light overcomes the sun’s lust
The subjects of the moon take over the sky
And the sun sinks toward the horizon to bleed and cry
Light and dark clash
Their teeth lock together
Their claws are poised to lash
But the battle will rage on forever
Then at dawn, the sun reclaims its golden light
It stretches when released from its cramped prison and holds its power tight
Its rays reach out to caress the land and keep the darkness at bay
It calls out in jubilant tones to bring life to the new day
Light and dark clash
Their teeth lock together
Their claws are poised to lash
But the battle will rage on forever
Good and evil are carefully balanced by moon and sun
But if that equality was tipped our lives would be done
For one would dominate in a tyranny over the other
And our world would change in the way we see one another
Light and dark clash
Their teeth lock together
Their claws are poised to lash
But the battle will rage on forever
