Dry:

To pretend,

To revel,

To understand,

To forget,

To let,

To give,

To take,

To make,

To dream,

To hold,

To mold,

To see,

To listen,

To taste,

To touch,

To hear,

These things

Are forgotten

To me,

Falsified and

Left to

Wither alone,

And die.

These things

Are forbidden

To me

Sacred and

Holy, given

To those

Most worthy

These things

Are failed

To me

Worthless, they’re

Dropped into

The depths

When needed

These things

Are false

To me,

Words and

Merely words

Blank, bland,

Empty, dry
