When I see your face I begin to wonder:
What if I took that chance?
Would I live to regret it--
Or would I live to rejoice it?

I don’t know what the outcome might have been,
But I wish I had taken the chance.

When I see your face I begin to cry.
Will I know that it was meant to be,
You and I?

One night I’ll remember this event
And stare at the flickering stars above
Like the sparkles in your eyes,
And I hope that one day
I’ll look back and laugh at the times we shared
And cry at the times we didn’t.

These memories are here to stay
Until time makes them fade away.
