Cornwall

The rain will jump off the page.

The fog will sink into veins.

Our clouds of restraint will lift

With the sea-breath sign of relief.

We may fall into fields or tread over reefs.

Coral smile or dew-dipped lie.

The hills of Cornwall allow me to fly.

These cliffs, these clouds, a smile you’ll catch for me,

Our Blue Mornings, ripe sunshine,

The restless, Maiden Sea.
