This Is My Story

Everything is black.

Teenage male voice whispers: “This is my story”

Flash of lightening and rain starts pouring in the black night.

Pan down to a white one floor laboratory with three cages lined up in the back of the laboratory. One cage on the left is twenty feet tall and ten feet wide while the other two are five feet tall and five feet wide. Behind the cages is a forest.

Zoom onto the back door which opens with a bald middle aged man in a white lab coat, white pants, white shoes, and thick black glasses. The man runs towards the right cage and takes out a large key out of his pocket to open the cage door.

Man: “Come out Chain”

A Chained Hound comes out of the cage slowly sniffing the air. The Chained Hound is a black dog like creature that is four feet tall with a spiked mussel with chains running around its body to other spiked collars around its neck and ankles; it also has green spikes along its head to its spiked ball tail.

Man: “Drago has escaped, we must find him”

The man and Chain looks at the left cage which is twenty feet high, the cage door was ripped open but still in tacked with the cage. The man starts walking into the forest behind the three cages with Chain by his side.

Five minutes worth of walking into the forest, a loud roar echoes through the forest, the man and Chain stop in their tracks.

Man: “He’s nearby, isn’t he?”

Chain nods to the man. The man notices that Drago is in fact twenty feet away from them in near a five foot wide flat rock that’s two feet high; there are no trees by Drago. Drago is a nineteen foot Mechanical Dragon. A Mechanical Dragon is a two legged dragon with mechanical arms and legs; he also has a spiked ball tail and has a gash just below his right eye with three spikes coming out of it.

Man looks at Chain: “Go get him!”

Chain starts running towards Drago, once he’s about five feet from Drago; he lunges at his throat and bites down on his throat. Doing this brings Drago down to the ground far enough for Chain to stand on all fours again. The man walks close to Drago’s head so he can see him. The man bends over to Drago to know that Drago is looking at him.

Man: “It’s time to go home now”

Drago looks away, and then stares angrily at the man, he picks himself up quickly, and Chain loses his grip and flies into a nearby tree. Chain lies motionless in the wet ground.

Man looks over to Chain: “Chain!”

Drago roars to get the man’s attention away from Chain, he fully stands straight up to intimidate the man. The man starts to run away from Drago, but Drago grabs the man with his right mechanical claw. Drago holds the man close to his face and turns him around so that he’s facing him and roars at him in the face.

Man: “What has gotten into you Drago!”

Drago then smashes the man into the ground. Drago glares down at the man, but suddenly looks to his left to a blue glow.

Man looks over to the blue glow: “Chain?”

Chain on all fours has awoken and is inhaling deep from his mouth making a glowing blue ball form in his mouth. Once the ball is too big to keep in his mouth, he lets it go right into Drago’s neck. Drago moves away from the impact and let’s go of the man with a roar, the man slowly gets up with pain. Once Drago gets his balance again, he charges at Chain, his tail hits the man, knocking him away and onto the flat rock that is nearby.

Once Drago gets close enough, Chain hops onto Drago and lands on the base of Drago’s tail. Chain then runs up to Drago’s head and bites down on the area between his eyes hard. Drago roars and shakes his head around trying to get Chain off of him with no luck. Drago then head butts a nearby tree, doing this makes Chain loose his grip, but he hops right back onto Drago’s right shoulder and swings his spiked ball tail right into his mechanical elbow and brings his tail up leaving a two foot gash from his elbow. Drago roars and quickly gets up making Chain fly up and land hard onto the wet ground by Drago’s feet. Drago clutches onto the gash that Chain has left behind as Chain quickly gets up and faces him. Chain starts breathing in to form another glowing blue ball, but Drago swings his spiked ball tail right in Chain’s face, making him fall to the ground again, this time, he does not get back up.

The man, still on the flat rock, has been watching Chain and Drago fight. Drago gets his right mechanical claw right on Chain’s body, crushing him. Drago then looks over at the man and glares at him. Drago charges at the man who is trying to get up and run away, but he catches up to him and grabs him in his right hand. Drago turns him around and smashes him into the flat rock. The man spits up some blood and coughs.

Man whispers: “What has gotten into you Drago?”

Chain woke up slowly and turns to see Drago letting go of the man and standing up tall and raising his tail up high above the man. Chain tries to get up but he is too weak to get up, then he starts to slowly black out. Chain watches hopelessly as Drago crushes his spiked ball tail onto the man, Drago then turns to Chain and slowly walks towards him, Chain finally blacks out.

Everything turns black.

Everything suddenly turns white.

A teenage boy lays naked face first on the ground. He has a slight tan, spiky black hair with bangs, and has a spiked bracelet on each wrist. He then awakes and starts to get up slowly, kneeling he notices that he is not the same and looks at his body.

Teenage boy: “What happened to me?”

He’s surprised that he talked, starts breathing hard, and looks at his body again and notices a spiked ball on a chained necklace on the ground a foot away from him. He grabs the necklace with his right hand and looks at it for a minute, then slowly gets up on his two feet. He slowly tries to walk and almost falls over, but he gets the hang of it.

Flash of Drago glaring at him.

The teenage boy brings his hands to his head and shakes his head. He looks at the necklace in his right hand; he then looks at the flat rock, he frowns and starts walking to the flat rock. He gets up close to the flat rock and looks over to the bloody corpse of the man. He suddenly hears someone coming from behind him.

A man with brown hair, jeans and a white t-shirt on comes out of the trees with a small box with blue wrapping paper with a blue bow on the top. The man is shocked that the teenage boy is naked, but shakes it off.

Man: “Do you know someone named Bob Curtis?”

The teenage boy looks at the corpse again. The man notices the corpse and runs to it; he takes a look at the corpse and turns to the teenage boy.

Man yells: “Did you do this?”

The teenage boy whispers: “No”

Man: “Who are you anyways?”

The teenage boy looks at him: “I’m Chain”

Man: “You’re Chain?”

Chain nods then looks at the corpse.

Man: “You couldn’t have done it then, Bob loved you very much, where’s Drago? And what happened to you? Last time I knew it, you where a Chained Hound”

Chain: “I don’t know where Drago is, but I know he killed him, and I have no idea what happened to me”

Man starts to break down: “Drago killed my brother”

The man continues to cry and sets the gift on the ground.

Man: “I’ll take you home with me and my wife Holly, you don’t have a place to go anymore, (Brings out his hand for a hand shake) and I’m Trevor Curtis”

Chain just looks at him.

Man: “Oh, right, you are not used to being a human, but first, we have to do something about his body”

Trevor takes out a cell phone, and dials a number and turns away. Chain turns to Bob’s body, and stares at him for a minute, till he suddenly faints.

Everything turns black.

Chain awakens on a bed, with jeans and a black t-shirt on with his necklace on, he looks around. A long haired blonde lady in a blue dress comes into the room.

Lady: “Oh, you’re awake now, I’m Holly”

Chain quietly says: “Hi”

Holly: “Not the talkative type? (Chain nods slowly) Just get some rest, you’re staying here now”

Holly leaves the room closing the door behind her.

Cut to Chain walking down a school hallway.

Chain: “That was then, and now, I go to an interesting school called The Academy, to learn some new powers, yet (Chain sits down on a bench in the hallway and looks at his necklace in his right palm) I don’t know why I have this necklace or where to start finding Drago”

Chain closes his hand with the necklace inside.
