Golden lilies shine like the moon
Waiting as golden birdies croon
Sitting in this wond'rous place
Look of beauty on my face
Don't know whether I am here
Listen closely you can hear
The owls hoot as the crickets play
Singing all night and sleeping all day

Golden sunrises, daisies and bees
Tulips and butterflies amongst the trees
Golden children laugh and play
Golden sunlight warms the day
Golden cookies smell fresh on the sill
Golden thoughts are floating still
Golden pollen tickles my nose
Golden sand around my toes

Golden honeysuckles
Rich and sweet
Golden squash
Golden wheat
Everything is golden now
Golden angels take a bow
Rings of light upon their face
Sitting in this wond'rous place
Golden is the moon, silent and bright
Sleeping all day and shining all night.
