"Me Anymore"

i am an over-sexed hormone star
from this universe's big bang
i sleep from the burrows of the moon
where my radio active fallacies tend to hang
and today is when i go into hiding
placing all the newspapers at the back door
thank you for cutting my heart from my chest
thank you for not loving me anymore

sometimes at night i would join in
as you gleefully smoked your nicotine
but you'd turn me off
when you coughed out something black
like a dismantled factory machine
and from this said machine
i'd continue to kiss upon it's lips
followed by intellectual conversation
that read like shakespearean scripts

next time i see you
i hope you're wearing that blue shirt
next time i see you
i hope your heart is on your sleeve
but the one thing i hope
the next time i see you
is that you forgive me for my act
on the night before christmas eve

even though you have that bad boy image
i could see the sweetness inside
'cause the next time i see you
i want to be with you again
and you can let me know what you decide

but thank you for the ride back home
thank you for holding the door
thank you for cutting my heart from my chest
thank you for not loving me anymore
