Frozen moments

The wind is roaring and the wind is pouring

Down on me as lightening enlightens the sky

Leaving alone just the thoughts, I’m thinking

What the future gives and what we can’t deny

----------

Silent emotions floating away in the night

Freezing the moments that become memories

History it is made, but is it wise to fight or flight

From the truth that is told in a quiet breeze

----------

Ground is shaking and the waves are breaking

On the shore, shining in the glow of sunrise

I look at the distant horizon, while I’m smiling

And heaven smiles back, tears fall from its eyes

----------

The wind is equally destructive as we are

Seeing the happenings happened in the past

Don’t you think we’ve also gone too far?

Time to put an end to things has come at last

----------

For a second that contained an eternity

You hold me tight as if you’ll never let me go

Suddenly alone, nothing but a mere memory

Frozen moments created a long time ago
