-1A Shame
A foreign silhouette burned in a foreign wall
Another species killed off for another mini-mall
A couple billion children taught to murder for their god
And I don't care
Corporations robbing nations without an ounce of shame
Whole populations dying and we profit from the pain
A police state we created's aided nothing but disdain
But I don't care
'Cause I know
I can go home and watch TV
Get drunk and just forget about everything
I'm just too tired to consider thinking
And I know
That there's no hope of changing anything
Aint jack that I can do as far as I can see
Not to mention that it's not my responsibility
So please don't try
To jog my mind
Please realize
I'll try, when it's trendy and it seems convenient
Yes , please don't try
I'm content to live the lie
I know the end is nigh
But I can't live up to giving up such a good high
And there's a
Foreign silhouette burned in a foreign wall
Another species killed off for another mini-mall
A couple billion children taught to murder for their god
And I don't care
Corporations robbing nations without an ounce of shame
Whole populations dying and we profit from the pain
A police state we created's aided nothing but disdain
But I don't care
It's a shame
I still complain
It's a shame
"I'm underpaid!"
It's a shame
I can't do anything anyway
And it's a shame
There must be something wrong with me
