Painted Emotion

OceansAway

A hint of confusion

Overcomes all other tastes

It's only a speck of orange

But it's the most prominent

The hue of pain

The most vivid emotion shows itself as red

It fades to the background

But lingers, waiting to come back

The violet represents sorrow

The dark abyss

Confusion surrounds it

But sorrow steeps into everything

The periwinkle shows that peaceful unknowing

That naïveté that we all cherish

A quality that we are born with

But fades away

Knowledge is shown as green

The knowing

The good and bad

A mix of joy and sorrow

Joy is bright yellow

Cheery that we all wish for

It fades away

And becomes less common

The black is anger

The dark loathing

An evil emotion

Hatred is what causes all other pain

The light blue is constancy

In childhood it is common

Nothing changes

As we grow older everything grows unpredictable

We grow uncertain about life

And sometimes regret to live
