Feels giddy from the barest minimum of contact
everything's Technicolour...

Cherry-red walls, shimmering crystals
that wink at me knowingly-
It's not like that, I protest.
They ignore me.
Who am I to argue with walls?

The lime-green carpet that my feet don't even touch
Mingled with the electric blue and fluoro yellow sky waltzing through
The overpowering scent of air- and soap.
And possibly fairy floss.

Is rudely interrupted by a detached beep-beep-beep
The walls shudder.
The carpet begins to melt.
The last petal falls from the rose.
Pulls out the masking tape and whiteout- yet again.
They're not going anywhere!
