their ladders
shortcut to heaven

Few steps and more beyond,
amidst discord the light in favour
persisting ideal; some never gone
withdrawing within meek demeanor

Zinc intoned and flawlessly soothing
fleeting gem adorn embellish
with periphery so condescending
and interstices courteous kitsch

a thousand miles, a year in digits
an age, a milestone, an eternity,
what time and sight and age prohibits
fall short at wisdom's ever mercy

Ensconced within your humble touch
with shadows cast upon so close
so small, so shunt, yet out of grasp
near bleakly distanced eldorados

a/n. You know what? I'm darn lousy. And it's not just that, I'm getting worse. Gotta write more next time. In the meantime, thanks for reading "" 2am morning, gotta sleep.
