Silence”

I’m no good with words.
When I need to use them: I
Avoid it, or
I say “I don’t know,” But most often
I say nothing.

I’m afraid to speak.

When it matters most,
I choose the worst:
When I’ve so many words,
I say nothing.

Silence is my curse.

I don’t want to hurt or be hurt.
I don’t want to be here. When
I say nothing:

I want it to end.

So I hide behind silence:
I say nothing.

I inflict my curse when

I say nothing.
