Previously: I followed, got a water for myself, opened it, and collapsed on the floor.

"You shouldn't sit down," A voice commanded me.

I looked up, expecting to see Jen.

But who I saw, hardly resembled Jen...

I look down, and then up again at the girl. She had reddish- brown hair, and wicked green eyes.

"Do I know you?" I raise my eyebrows. Surely I would remember a girl this nice looking.

The girl thinks about it for a moment. "Nope, sorry."

"Well then, we'll have to change that, won't we?" I suggest.

I can see the girl suppressing her true feelings; I guess I do that to most girls.

"I'm Brandon," I offer her my hand to shake.

"Pleasure." the girl offers me a smile; one I can tell holds a fair amount of annoyance.

"Well, are you going to tell me your name at least?" I plead.

"Abigail," The girl tells me.

Abigail.

"Well, it's nice to--" Oww! My head is suddenly throbbing. I turn behind me to see Jen starring at me.

"Bugging the new girl, Brandon? That's low... even for you..." Jen laughs, and I see Abigail snicker as well.

"Hey!" I try to defend myself. "Don't whack me! My face is worth a lot!" I protect my face.

"Yeah, whatever," Jen rolls her eyes.

I turn around to see Abigail very amused by what was going on between Jen and I.

"You two are hysterical," Abigail laughs sort of nervously. I can tell that she is enjoying herself, but is trying not to say anything wrong in front of Jen and I. I'm pretty sure that she thinks we're going to bite. Come to think of it, most celebrities do bite, thus the intimidation. Which is why it's sweet to talk to someone who isn't a celebrity and scared of my celebrity status; first time in years, literally.

"Attention! Attention!" Huck's airhead assistant chimes with too much perkiness in her voice. "We're starting up, again! Come gather around, children!" Okay that just blew her 25 year- old looks; I'm guessing she's forty- something. "New Partners this round!"

Score! Jen can't hit me!

"Hanning, Abigail, and Williaims, Brandon!"

Great. Now I get to dance with a chick that thinks I'm funny. That just about ruins my shot at getting her number, more or less going on a date!
