BEWARE THE WATER…

Beware the water,
As you fall into sorrow.
As the darkness creeps,
Its exit wound seen only as narrow.

Beware the water,
As you hurtle through space.
No time to be honest,
Or show your true face.

Beware the water,
As you fall from the sky,
Your neck black and broken
You no longer can cry.

Beware the water
As more time flies on.
You forget your repression
To sing love’s broken song.

Beware the water,
Poisonous to drink
A complaint unheard
And deeper you sink.

Beware the water
You heed no call
You climb up higher
For many a fatal fall

Beware the water,
For drowning saves none.
As much as we beg false
forgiveness from the son.

Beware the water
Anger, hate and pain.
You fall so hard to
never rise up again.

Beware the water
It satiates no thirst
Only your aching heart
will beat harder ‘til it bursts

Beware the water
A warning untold,
A pain well dulled
by the repeated cold

Beware the water!
Saturate and never got the chance
to question the chemical high.

Beware the water!!
You’re warned one more time.
But your pain is naught compared
To your soon-committed crime

Beware the water!
Oh beware the sun (son)!
You’ve lost it all…
Now your world has just begun…
