They breath our air
They bleed real, red, blood
They may even shed a tear

Heroes are human, too
They have the right to hurt
They have a heart to feel
Just like you or me

Heroes are human, too
People like all the rest
People who answer a call
The call to do admirable feats

Although we may fail to see
Although we may forget the truth
He is not as different as we think

We really shouldn’t forget
They bleed the same red blood
And feel the same loss, perhaps more
