Flawlessly Imperfect

She hangs from your arm,
she's the perfect little trophy
and I see the way you look at me
as I'm sitting in the shadows.
It's like I don't even exist
and I want to be the one
who takes your breath away because
you are so beautiful,
you are so wonderful,
but I'll never be enough for you.

You are the diamond on her perfect little ring
on that perfect little finger
and I don't mean a thing to you.
I'm just a face without a name and
she's everything I'm not.

But perfection never lasts.
Things aren't always as they seem,
and in the end you'll realize
the only one for you is me because
I am beautiful,
I am wonderful,
and I don't even want you any more.
