I am a Squad Car Bear,

And every day

In every way,

I'd like to show I care.

I’ve had a lot of practice

Of cheering those who find

That now and then

They need a friend

Who’ll be there in a bind.

I don't hug very well,

But my arms are open wide,

So hold me tight

With all your might,

And know that I really tried.

I know the world is scary,

Yet you don’t have to be alone,

Never fear,

For every tear,

I shed my very own.

Use my shoulder to cry on,

If you don’t know what to do,

Just so you know,

I want to show,

That you will pull through.

Teddy Bears can’t do a lot,

And adults can’t always either,

So if you please,

Give one a squeeze,

When they need a little breather.
