I'm trying to write a line of rhyming words

No, no, I am not one of the nerds.

This can be fun if I let it be.

We will just have to wait and see.

I have not written in a while

All my feelings are left in a pile.

Let them out my brain does say

I will let them out oh, today.

See the words that I have written

I do not do not own a kitten

Dr. Seuss is what I think I sound like.

I will not read this through a mic.

I will not eat green eggs and ham

I will not eat them with a guy named Sam.

I do like Seuss who is a doctor

I have never been a proctor.

Proctor this a test you know

Testing everything high and low

Does this make sense to you

To me it does not sound real new.

That's OK I like to write

I don' t really like to fly kites.

This poem is really long

I think I could sing it like a song.

Would you ever want to do that?

You could do it with a cat who wears a hat.

This is a good way to make your brain work

As long as you do not sound like a jerk.

I hope you enjoyed this exercise of mine.

If you want to do it, that's just fine.

Open up your brain and let the words pour out.

Do it, do it, don't you pout.

Make sure the last words in the lines rhyme.

And it will sound good every time.
