These friends,

You’ve feel as if you've known them years,

In only weeks.

They say

"Cheers to you man"

As you tap your glasses

Spilling your spirits

They swear they'd die by you.

The bring women,

And good memories.

Waking the next morning

They are the first to crack a joke

These friends are always the first to say

When they begin to sway

"I love you man"

These friends will swear they are there

Through "thick" and thin

When it comes down to it

The beer runs dry

Women gone home

They soon follow

And in the time you've grown so close

They are a stranger

Once again
