Remember17/06/2007 19:58:00

Remember that one day when we couldn’t breathe

That awkward morning on main street

Laughing in the market place

You were lost among the daisies

And do you remember the children playing

Picking up their skirts as to not get them dirty

And my eyes were the colour of grass

Like the leaves you twirled in my hair

Remember that one day we promised

That this moment would live forever

And all the traffic lights turned red

As to freeze this moment in time

And remember the smell of the coffee we drank

And the crumbs on your shirt

How we held hands and sipped slowly

And our kisses tasted divine

Remember that one day we walked for hours

And when our feet started bleeding

We found ourselves in a meadow

And remember the sound of the creek

Promising rebirth

Remember this

The day I said I loved you

And promised to never stop caring

When I could stand in the rain with you without an umbrella

When your hands fit perfectly with mine

When our lips created beautiful melodies

When your eyes met mine

And we commented on how beautiful the world was

But secretly we were talking about each other

Remember, Always Remember.
