Author's Note: my pititful attempt at something ressembling a song. If you can imagine breaking benjamin singing this (for those of you who know them) then I've done my job. The words in parenthasis are supposed to be heard as whisperish type screams in the background (if that makes any sense) So anywho, try to imagine it and tell me how I did..who knows maybe I'll become a songwriter ;D

Burning Bright

Leave me behind

I’ve stumbled, lost in time.

Breathe in the life tonight.

Soon I’ll be gone, take flight.

--

When all is said and done

I’ve already lost- you’ve won.

Doubt has me on my knees

and nothing you could ever do

can make me rise, rise

(again).

--

Couldn’t drink your thirst

now watch as I torch it down.

Feed the flame

(Watch you burn)

--

But when all is said and done

I’ve already lost- you’ve won.

Doubt has me on my knees

and nothing you could ever do

can make me rise, rise

(again).

--

Here I stay, buried alive

by the weight of a thousand lies.

Here I stay, burning

consumed by the fire.

--

This world still turns.

(feed the blame)

As we burn

together on this funeral pyre.

(feel the flame)

--

So this is how it ends.

It burns so bright.
