We do almost everything together

We're so much in love

I love everything about him

His eyes his smile

the way he walks

His personality is the best

But even though we trust

each other with our lives

I can still see the reserve in his eyes

He still holds so much pain

sometimes he asks me why

I am still with him

that question hurts me

but I understand

So many have hurt this dear man

he has given each his heart and soul

yet it wasn't good enough for them

To me they are everything

He is worried I might hurt him

But all I want to say is this

I love you with all my heart

and I will never let that heart of yours down

I'll guard it with my life

and protect it with love

So let down the rest of those reserves
