Epilogue

“Are you guys leaving?” Jayden asked as he and Cage walked over to Riley and Rhuben who were packing up a moving van.

“Yeah” Riley replied, leaning against the van.

“Well, we’re going to miss you guys” Cage said, placing his hands into his pockets. Adrian, Bailey, and Liam walked up at that point in the conversation. Bailey made a face at what Cage said seconds before.

“Yeah, nothing’s going to be the same while you’re gone” Jayden replied.

“Why are you guys so sentimental?” Bailey asked, breaking into the conversation.

“What do you mean, you guys are leaving” Cage pointed out.

“Yeah, across the county,” Liam said, raising an eyebrow. ”Our new parents realized how much we didn’t want to leave, so they decided to buy a new house so we can stay”

Cage turned to Riley and Rhuben with a glare on his face as Riley and Rhuben smirked back. “You made us go through that sentimental stuff, and you’re just moving across the city?”

“Yeah” Rhuben replied calmly.

“Why didn’t you tell us?” Jayden asked his cheeks pink.

“You never gave us the chance” Riley replied. “Who knows, things might have been better if we moved away, we could have started fresh”

“You’re wrong” Cage said, shaking his head. “Even if it was a bad thing, things wouldn’t have had been as interesting if none of this happened”

“That’s…great” Adrian said slowly, rolling his eyes.

“Kids, its time to go!” Mrs. Kingston, their new mother, called as she walked out of the house with her husband behind her.

“Ok!” Bailey and Liam called back.

“None of our stuff will be up until tomorrow or the day after, so don’t be surprised if you don’t hear from us for a while” Riley said.

“All right” Jayden said nodding. “How do you like the new parents so far?”

“We like em’ just fine, its just Riley and Rhuben that have the problem” Liam said, placing his hands on his hips.

“Why not?” Cage asked.

“She’s too up in my face” Riley replied, talking about her new mother.

“He’s always trying to be my friend” Rhuben added, talking about her new father.

“And they both act too nice, they aren’t being themselves” the two replied in unison.

“And I can see how that’s bad” Jayden said sarcastically.

“Shut up” Rhuben said and punched him lightly on the shoulder. She looked over her shoulder and saw that their parents sitting in the car, waiting impatiently. Riley pushed herself off of the moving van.

“Looks like we gotta go” she said.

“See you soon, then” Cage said nodding. He held out his hand. Riley looked at his hand before smirking and clasping it in her own. Riley turned and gave Jayden a small hug. Bailey, Liam, and Adrian gave them hugs and ran over to the car, Riley walking behind them slowly.

“I’ll go now” Cage said, giving Rhuben a quick hug and walked across the street to his house. Rhuben turned to Jayden, a teasing smile tugging onto her lips.

“I thought your dad said to stay away” she said teasingly.

“Doesn’t mean I’m going to” Jayden replied, shrugging, and gave her a warm smile.

“I just remembered that I forgot to give you something while we were at the hospital” Rhuben said, lightly hitting herself on the forehead.

“What’s that?” Jayden asked.

“This” Rhuben placed her hand on his neck and pressed her lips against his. Jayden smiled before kissing her back.

“Oooh” Bailey’s teasing voice wafted over to them.

“Go Rhu-Rhu!” Liam and Adrian added. Blushing, the two teens pulled away.

“See you later” Rhuben said and ran and got into the car. Jayden laughed, shaking his head as he heard Rhuben and her brothers arguing. He waved as they drove out of sight, to their new lives….

“JUST LEAVE ME ALONE OK?” Riley yelled at Cage. “I DON’T CARE IF YOU’RE WORRIED ABOUT ME! DO YOU HEAR ME?! I DON’T CARE! AND BESIDES LOVE DOESN’T EXIST FOR ME!”

“No we don’t,” Bailey said, shaking his head. “Liam, sometimes even the closest twins, like you and me, we have to keep our own secrets”

"I told you already that love doesn't exist for me" Riley said, shakig her head, trying to blink back tears.

"I'd rather die, then not have you love me" Cage whispered before pressing his lips against hers in a needy kiss.

“Don’t act like you care!” Rhuben snapped, pulling her arm away.

“What are you talking about, of course I care!” Jayden cried.

“Then why did you kiss my sister?”
