help but melt away
as I read
your words.

I gurgle

like a spring

so fresh

and new

and innocent.

Even if I try

every time I

read it I

begin to

fizz

like carbonated soda.

like vanilla scented
candle wax.

I’m as pristine

as newly fallen snow

through your chocolate eyes.
