A/N: do you beLIEve?

I watch your eyes ricochet through the afterlives
I never thought this would be the end of mine
I stumble and I stutter from the lack of lies
I wonder if you even ever tried

Rehabilitation; not the end of me
I wanted to go back, but you wouldn’t let me leave
Keep me in a promise that I never meant to lead
All your words accelerate with speed

Never was the promise that I promised myself
Never was the lie
And now I always wonder if you ever thought the worth
The value of you locked into my eyes

Under the hue of my envy
This wasn’t meant to be
I’d promise me this much; you weren’t one to lead
So Now I wait for destruction of the life you made with me
I’ll wait until you’re man enough to leave

Never was the promise that I promised myself
Never was the lie
And now I always wonder if you ever thought the worth
The value of you locked into my eyes
