Stood on fallen leaves looking up at me
Eyes a paler blue than the skies above
And you whispered; “just look, look at the sea
While thinking about me without love

Don’t treasure me forever; I’m leaving.
You are not what is meant for me right now
Even if this hurts, don’t stop believing
I won’t turn back, I’ll only disavow”

Turned and left as I collapsed to the ground
Forget about love and all of its joy
Only flesh and blood will ever be found
Amongst anyone I could once enjoy

Pale blue, even in the depths of the sea
Anchoring me down, not letting me free.
