After rummaging through my bedroom for the last half an hour I have discovered that I have lost one of the most precious things that I own. I honestly cannot explain how important this object was to me, I have kept it for three years past the time it ceased to be useful.

Before now I always assumed it was nearby and so never worried.

Now though since I learned of it being gone it feels as though a huge part of me has gone with it.

This may sound like a dumb thing to say but I honestly never knew just how much it meant to me until I went looking for it and found it to be gone.

Now I can’t relax, I have no idea why. I need to find it before I can actually just sit and write properly again.

I know no one else can help me find it but I thought it might be better to get this out.

To anyone else this may seem like such an unimportant thing that it is actually laughable that I can’t find it. So unfortunately I can’t ask anyone for help.

There’s nothing like a sense of panic, sadness, loss and annoyance hitting you at the same time is there?
