Midnight, I’m still waiting.
Surrounded by beautiful, plastic people.
They smile at me and ask me what’s wrong,
I try to tell them but they can’t understand my words.
Not like you do.
You left long ago, I’m still waiting.
You know I don’t love you anymore,
It’s just that I can’t leave.
Not without you.
We’ve been through too much,
I’m tired of walking away.
I said I’d be there for you,
Now I’m going to follow through.
I promise.
I’ll be there.
I’m still waiting.
I don’t love you,
But I’ll wait.
I’m still waiting.
