Catch me now,
As I fall through the stars, time passing me by.
The blues and the purples and the blacks,
Shine on me and change me,
Devour me and caress me,
Swirl me effortlessly.
Such calm, calm still seas,
Such white, firm skin in all the bellows
of the fire burning inside. Call out to me;
I am here, flying by your side.
On the edge of the universe, in the
Shadows of a Supernova,
I stare at you through the spitting and the blistering heat;
You move so slowly, and you weep so quietly,
But I hear you, I see you, my love.
Just the touch of the sun is enough for you to feel it,
Feel the gentle breeze, so often forgotten
in a world so filled with self-obsession.
Inspire me, be my muse and never forget
the summers we gave each other, the
Bursting petals of our life.
Now the red leaves have burnt and the
White moon has turned cold, has blinded me from you.
Break past the barriers that hold us,
Break through the hands that mould us,
And let my hand brush past yours,
Just before the world stops.
And quietly,
It whispers, “This is the end.”
