The Eternity of Death
by Moonliel-Lucifer

Hardened cold eyes pierce through the midnight hours
‘Wake’ a voice calls, it’s sweetness enveloped by the lingering shadows
The dark clings to the pillars
The gleaming sapphires, crystalline and innocent
Pain of the years etched in those orbs

Iridescent skin
Emeralds and warm chocolate
Others lost in the pool of beauty

Seduce and kill
Never ending, never over
Always suffering and never waking
The crave of want, the warm liquid metal sliding down the throat
Unexplainable pleasure, a shot through the loins
The ultimate ecstasy

The harsh glares of morning
Sunrise as your warning
Deep within the earth you crawl

Slumber the day
Hunt the night
Prey and drink
Strive and collapse

The agony is overwhelming
The despair and guilt eat away the years
Yearn for the death of death
Receive nothing but crimson stained hands

The Eternity of Death

End.

A/N: Inspired by Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles
