Chapter 1: A day at the ball field

Pairings: None...well maybe none...

Place: Prince George softball park...can't remember what its called...its across from a school though XD

Jade, Renee and Raine all suited up into their red and white softball uniform. "Jay...don't go all lazy ass on us okay...you run like you mean it!" Renee said while holding her fist up. Jade rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah...loser," she said before flipping her off and walking out to the car and waited for their parents...who HAD to drive...they don't know why either...maybe because Renee crashed before and they didn't want that option.

Raine and Renee were both talking 3 way with Julius, Jason, Jackson and Jesse. "Okay, so you'll be at my game?" Renee AND Raine asked hopefully. Jade winced and thought. "NOOO!" all the while staying stoic and looking out the window.

Jaden sat beside her, "Ya gonna win?" he asked happily. She glared at him and nodded curtly.

Renee grinned cheekily. "She'd better win...especially since Jesse is gonna be there," she teased. Automatically, the car came to a jerking stop and the rest of the occupants had to cover their heads from impact.

"Whose Jesse?!" their dad said, turning in his seat to give them all grueling glares. Jade just glared back at him and slapped him over the head from the back seat. "No one you have to worry about dad...now friggen start driving again or I'll have to hurt you," she said while mock cracking her knuckles. He snorted but started driving anyways.

Their mom turned back. "So, who is Jesse?" she asked with a grin. Jade glared at the two girls. "A friend of Jadey's here!" Renee said happily.

"Yeah...that kind of friend, if ya know what I mean," Raine said with a wink and Jade already had her hands around their dad's throat. "Stop and I'll kill you," she said and he kept driving although he WAS about to step onto the breaks again. She turned to the other two.

"We're not dating, you fools..." she said coolly. Renee, Jaden and Raine grinned like the cats that got the bird. "Of course you're not!" they chorused. Jade's eyebrow twitched but she returned to being angry at passers-by. Their mom, Carrie, smiled also.

"Well...I think it'd be good if you dated him...I mean, if Jaden likes him, he should be a good boy," she said and grinned. Jade turned to her with a mock-betrayed look. "How could you take sides with them?!" she said before pouting and turning back to the window. The ones that weren't against the dating, snickered.

Once they reached the ball park, they stepped out of the van and met up with Jesse, Jason, Julius and Jackson right away. "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Louis," they chorused innocently while Jade and the others gave them deadpan looks. They, in turn, just grinned back. "Hi," their dad, Mark, said and shook all their hands while walking away. Carrie followed after saying hello also and ran after him. "You know that tall one...that was Jesse," they heard her say to him in an annoyed manner. He stopped and looked back before shrugging and walking to the bleachers. Jade slapped her forehead while the others (Meaning family) sniggered and the others (Friends) looked confused.

Before they could ask, their coach yelled. "WRIGHT, WRIGHT, WRIGHT! GET YOUR ASSES OVER HERE!" she jerked her thumb to the dug-out. Jade, Renee and Raine all saluted before running off.

Meanwhile, the guys all went back to Jesse's rocker van and got out some black paint. "This'll shock em!" Jason said and grinned like the Cheshire cat.

Back at the dug-out, Jade's team was getting an inspirational speech...aka being yelled at that if they lost, they weren't going to get food after the game, so they all groaned and shuffled out onto the field.

Jade was shortstop, Renee was first base and Raine was bat catcher.

After catching the ball, she threw the ball to Renee and that was an out. Later, it was from their teammate to Raine and that was an out. When it was apparent that their team was winning, the 5 J's took their shirts off. People laughed but they didn't care, they yelled in order.

"NAY!" Jackson yelled; "RAY!" Julius yelled; "AND!" Jason yelled; "JAY!" Jesse yelled; "ROCKS!" Jaden yelled, finishing their little chant. The 3 girls all turned red but ignored it. Jade missed the next ball that was headed her way and glared at the 5 before running after it and throwing it to second base, Susie Lunders, before it was a safe. She cursed under her breath and took out her MP3 and started playing music instead of listening to them all.

When they got 3 outs, it was their turn to be at bat and Renee was first. The 3 besides Jackson and Jaden turned around.

"NAY! ROCKS! OUR! SOCKS! YEAH!" was heard and she looked up before the pitcher threw and seen that the other 3 had turned around before rolling her eyes. She looked back and swung with all her might and a loud crack was heard as she hit it to the fence and made it to 2nd before they got the ball back to the diamond.

Ariel Burns was up next and she got a out before it was Susie's turn, she bunted and got to the first base while Renee got to the third base, narrowly missing an out. Next it was Raine. The guys turned and did another.

"RAY! WILL! HIT! DA! BALL!" and that she did...right to the edge of the fence, nearly hitting the pitcher and then got to second while Renee FINALLY got to home, as did Susie.

Next, Jade was finally up, she hit her cleat and then glared at the pitcher, music still blaring. The pitcher gulped but threw it. Jade missed on purpose before smirking while the pitcher got confident; missing another, she finally cracked her neck and the pitcher threw it again as hard as she could and Jade swung and they heard another loud bang as she got a homer. Running to first, then second, she started to pant and started jogging to the third while a few people booed. Renee and Raine rolled their eyes.

"JAY! STOP BEING A LAZY ASS!" they both yelled. Jade was going to make a rude gesture but noted her parents and kids were around so she just settled for a glare and ran the rest of the way before walking over to the two, taking off her batting glove and slapping them both with her glove and smirking. "Pimp slap bitches!" she said and smirked.

Later, when Jade was up to pitcher because Ariel hurt her shoulder batting, her mom and a couple of her family members started chanting. "HEY BATTER, BATTER, BATTER; SWING BATTER, BATTER, BATTER, MISS BATTER, BATTER, BATTER!" and Jade's eyebrow twitched again before she pitched and a cheer was heard...mainly from her family. She looked annoyed in their direction and they actually had the GULL to laugh!

"BE QUIET WILL YA!" she yelled and was actually called out of the game for unsportsmanlike-like conduct. She yelled at the umpire before calling him a giant wiener in a grey bun before storming back to the dug-out. Renee and Raine both groaned while another of their team came out and was pitcher.

"THAT! CALL! SUCKED! UMP! BOOO!" was heard and the guys had the black paint on them again, this time with different words. The bleachers, teams and umpire rolled their eyes.

Later, when it was about to be over, Jesse turned to them and whispered. "I need a favor," they all nodded and started washing off the paint with a towel and water that Jesse supplied them. When Renee had hit the last ball of the game, they had won 11-5. Jesse had cranked up a karaoke version of a boy-band song and They all turned around much like a boy-band.

"Ah, ah, Ahhh! I want you back!" was heard as the guys all were turned and people started watching, including the teams.

"JAY!" Jaden yelled and pointed a finger in the air and did a turn.

"WILL!" Jackson yelled and did a semi turn, just enough to show the 'will' on his chest.

"YOU!" Julius turned and did a thumbs up and showed his chest.

"DATE!" Jason turned around and stretched his arms over his head.

Last was Jesse. "ME!" he yelled and held a hand in his hair and grinned while winking in her direction.

Jade and everyone else included, stared; Jade's face went red and she dropped her bat right onto someone else’s foot. Still staring at them, she muttered a sorry while said person cursed at her and walked away. Mark walked over and pulled her away along with Raine and Renee. Jaden gave Jesse a sorry look before following after and grabbing his shirt.

Jesse looked crescent-fallen before Jade turned in her arms and put her fingers to her ear and mouth and mouthed a 'Call me.'

He grinned and Carrie walked after the 4 and waved to the guys and Jesse took out his cell-phone and dialed Renee's number since it was common knowledge that Jade didn't have a cell.

"Hello?"

"Let me talk to Jay."

"Oh, hey man...here!"

"Um...hello?"

"Hi! So what's your answer?" he grinned at him 3 friends.

"Sure...got nothing better to do," she said and smirked at her dad who gave her a suspicious glare. "It's Susie...she wants to meet up for some par-tayin!" she lied easily while giving her mom a wink and grin while in turn, she got one in return.

"No, defin-," Carrie cut Mark off with a glare. "You can go if you'd like," she said and kept glaring at Mark who didn't say anything but sulked. Jade grinned. "Yeah, I'll meet ya at the theatres, kay...see ya," she turned to Renee and Raine while handing Renee the phone after hanging up and grinned. "I'll be going to the theatre..." she looked elated before turning back to the door and when they stopped at the house, she jumped out and walked inside after grabbing her bat-bag and glove from the trunk and dumping them in the corner of her basement room. Renee and Raine both ran down and started sorting through their clothes as well as Jade's.

"So, what are you planning on wearing?" Renee asked, grabbing a towel and her clothes. Jade tapped her chin. "Hum...maybe one of my original works..." she said and started going through her stuff. After about a minute of searching, she took hold of a pair of jeans, a black tee-shirt with a white long-sleeved t-shirt.

"How're these?" she asked, putting the outfit together and showing them. They nodded slowly. "That's good...you designed it?!" Renee actually looked surprised. Jade nodded slowly with a weird look. "Yeah...last week..." she said slowly.

"Yes, yes you should wear that!" Raine said, threw a towel at Jade and pushed her towards the stairs. Jade gave them both annoyed looks. "Don't you DARE go near my drawer of clothes...I haven't finished some of em and they still might have needles in some," she warned before jogging up the stairs. Renee and Raine both looked at each other and then the dresser before grinning and walking to it quickly and started pulling out things, letting out random 'ow's!'

Jade walked down and glared at them because they were both sitting in middle of a mess. "Okay, I'm not even going to say anything...just put them away when you're done playing dress up and then when I come back...it better be clean again," the two snorted. "Okay...the way it was before you messed it up even more!" she snapped before walking out.

"How long do you think it'll take Jesse ta smooch her?" Renee asked, looking over at Raine who had feathers in her hair and then frowned. "Where'd the feathers come from?" she asked. Raine shrugged and looked over at a pillow that had gotten sliced by a scissor and they started laughing. "Anywho...not long...you know he's been dying to," she said and grinned. Renee nodded slowly, "True," she said happily.

YES! I did this all in about...an hour and half tops! hehe...and its amazing cause I haven't slept yet and it's like...8:18! XDD
